These illustrations were created for the BLACK wellness center in Fresno, CA as part of a doula curriculum text. The assignment was to show different holds for breastfeeding. It was important to show a proper latch, meaning that the baby’s nose is not covered and is facing towards the mom! It was also important that they were not on a soft surface.
